How can you engage in smart financial planning on a shoestring budget?
Even when you’re careful with your budget and plan for work slowdowns, the vagaries of the market can wreak havoc on your budget – and mood! So how do you survive the freelance roller coaster with your spirit and bank account intact? Whether you’re working as a freelancer or running your own firm on a shoestring budget, this seminar is for you.
Join tax and financial planner and radio show host Susan Lee for this frank discussion on managing your finances. Susan will address the issues facing graphic arts professionals, both on staff and freelancers, who must learn to survive -- and thrive -- through boom and lean months. Her talk will cover:
• Facing the economic realities;
• Thinking like a business owner;
• Regulating your cash flow;
• Keeping on top of your taxes;;
• Tax deductions you may not be aware of;
• Resources for managing your finances;
• Financial checklist.
Susan Lee, EA, CFP, is a tax and financial planner who often contributes to the Guild newsletter. She is also the host and producer of “You and Your Money” on WBAI radio. You can call her with questions at (212) 633 -1516.
