Introduction

I am a professional photographer and I also custom design all my own albums. I love designing - even if it is just a template. I have tons of albums and am looking forward to getting to know other creative minds and gaining lots of ideas!!

How did you become a digital scrapbook "Diva"?

I have always been a whiz at computers, using programs such as Photoshop. I am also very creative and love doing traditional scrapbooks, but have found it too time consuming for me right now with school and my own business. I started creating albums in Heritage Makers and found it so fun to merge these two stong points to create wonderful albums. I'm hooked! Anyone want to buy all my papers and embellishments?? (I'm serious! lol)

Does a step-by-step tutorial help?

Oh yeah!! I love doing tutorials - I'm a junkie. I do tutorials for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and all sorts of other programs, not just digital scrapbooking!

Do you print your page or display digitaly only?

I print. I always like having hard coppies. With the albums I use (Heritage Makers) they are so nice to display - and they are WAY less bulky than traditional scrapbooks. I like to think of them as my "creative coffee table" books!

What software are you currently using?

Photoshop, Heritage makers studio, Illustrator, Indesign

How is your favorite way to create your digital scrapbook pages?

So far I like Photoshop and Heritage Makers Studio the best. I also like to scan embellishments in. My favorite way to design I think right now is to look at a bunch of examples and ideas and merge all sorts of things together to create something that is unique and my own.
